MS

I'VE HAD MS FOR 40 YEAR'S NOW AND I GO UP AND DOWN AND I HAD TO HAVE MY TEETH PULLED AND TRYING TO GET USE TO MY DENTURES BUT I HAVE LOST A LOT OF WEIGHT AND MUSCLE ? AND I'M TRYING TO GET THEM BACK, SO FAR SO GOOD, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LISTENING TO ME AND I KEEP A JOURNAL

  1. I am so sorry to hear about your teeth issues. That must be SO difficult to adjust to. Did you have to have a lot of teeth pulled? Have you talked with your doctor about the weight loss and muscle loss? Is it related to your tooth issues? You must have been diagnosed very young with MS if you have been living with it for 40 years! My daughter was diagnosed at age 33 (almost 34) and I am waiting to see a neuro for an abnormal brain MRI that may be MS (I am 61).

    1. Keeping a journal is a great idea for so many reasons, . I am glad you are writing in one. Lorijo asks some great questions? Did issues with your teeth cause the weight loss or was it something else? Regardless, I hope you get used to the dentures soon and that you are able to enjoy food and exercise again. Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)
