"I teach high school, and I have learned to ask for and accept help from my colleagues and my students. My progression of disability in the almost 4 years since diagnosis, has left me unable to walk around the classroom and unable to get around school at all without motorized help. My students hand out papers, etc. I am thankful that I work at a terrific school and have amazing students and coworkers. Currently my son also attends the school, he also helps tremendously. So far, we have made it work. I'm not sure about the future though, everyday seems to get a bit harder."
