"I think there comes a time with those of us dealing with MS to put something out here in which we need someone say "hey, that is what Im dealing with too"....so here goes. I have had MS since 2003. In the beginning it was horrible. I spent a lot of time in hospitals and places like Sheltering Arms to recover. Over the years I have had my roller coaster ride of loads of symptoms to some symptoms. What I am dealing with NOW is the oddities of the disease. For example, GI issues. I have had them for as long as I can remember, but it has most defiantly gotten worse. If Im not constipated I am the exact opposite, and this is from week to week. It is a huge struggle. I have a slow emptying stomach so Im on medication to help things along. I can be backed up for days just to be doing the exact opposite days later after doing all I can to get things moving. I look 3 months pregnant most days of the month. I HATE THAT! I also have bladder issues. I have days where I hurt all over and do not want to move in my bed much less get up but I push myself. Pain management is ridiculous as doctors do not want to give pain medications to us because people in this world abuse them. They do not realize there are people that NEED it to function. So, with those three things being said, my MS family--what do you guys do for these three issues? I need to find some kind of direction. "
