"Completely understand the sensory overload!! If I'm tired or it's late at night....I am so sound sensitive. Love going to dinner parties or going to hockey games but by about half way thru, I am ready to head for home (my home environ is usually very quiet and calm). TV commercials shouting at me to buy a car?? I want to crawl under the bed.. I need calm and quiet like I need air to breathe. .I thought I was just getting older and fussier about things, but this validates my "issues"!! Thanksso very much for this articale!!"
