If you’ve been diagnosed with MS, it’s important to see a neurologist who specializes in MS. This doctor might work at an MS center, might be part of a team of neurologists, or might work independently. There are a few things which I would do to find an MS specialists:

    1. Check the directory of MS centers (http://www.mscare.org/search/custom.asp?id=881) for clinics or doctors who are members of the Consortium of MS Centers (CMSC).
    2. Call the National MS Society (1-800-344-4867) to ask for a list of MS specialists in your area.
    3. If you attend in-person events or support group meetings, ask other MS patients who they recommend.
