MS and My Personal Mantra

At my age of 76 I find myself just wanting to give up and not try and fight this horrible disease any longer. I gave myself a message that I post in my own brain daily to keep me trying. It would be so easy to call it quits, but I have to keep on keeping on and I will listen to Devin and get myself some "active" rest.

I stood alone tonight
I looked upon the sky
I stood alone tonight
Not much afraid to die

Loneliness surrounds me like a
thief upon the night, in my lonely world
nothing seems right.

Then a feeling, a feeling came on strong
All days will not be painful, all days will not
be long.

I stood alone tonight, I looked upon the sky
I stood alone tonight, I do not want to die.
