Lost my insurance from work

We moved from Ga to SC but I stayed with the same company but I guess there is a different Union. NO ONE EXPLAINED THIS TO ME!!! It started in Oct when we moved and they changed my insurance to BCBS, and mailed me a card in Dec.Then in March I receive a letter dated 3/7/16 saying I no longer have insurance as of 12/31/15. They had been paying medical and Rx. I looking for an attorney that could help with this. An thoughts?

  1. Agapeach, I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. I think getting an attorney may be your best option at this time. If possible, gather all paperwork related to your job transfer and benefits, etc. If you can prove they provided no prior notice to this change, you might be able to get them to pay your medical bills at least through 2015. You should have received notification of any insurance changes before the end of the year. Keep in mind, I am not a lawyer, so I cannot guarantee that your company will have to compensate you. I wish you the best of luck in this! Have a good evening. Thank you, Erin, MultipleSclerosis.net Team Member.
