Not diagnosed yet, final test coming up. Getting worried

(Sorry this is long) Earlier this year, I woke up and I felt like I couldn’t move. My legs were so stiff and my knees ached. My elbows were sore as well. I was so dizzy, I would fall over just trying to stand up. My doctor decided it wasn’t serious and sent me home. I developed numbness in my fingers and toes and I got these vflashes of light in my eyes. 2 months of that (some days were better than others) the doctor ordered a few x-rays and ct scans of my neck and back. Those were normal. He said it was probably MS and told me to come back in a month. He took me off some medicine in case that was causing it. The medicine wore off but the symptoms didn’t. I was trying to work but eight hours on my feet hurt me so bad, I was constantly crying. I couldn’t kneel down because I had no strength to get up. I lost the job because I wasn’t able to move fast. The doctor finally ordered an MRI, which will be done on Friday. I’m really getting nervous because I lately have developed an issue with being able to work things like the clip on my dog leash and really bad headaches I also get really bad tremors that wake me up. I get so exhausted just doing chores, most of the time I have to take naps. I don’t have anyone to talk to and I keep worrying about it. I don’t know what has been happening to me. Is there anything I can do to help?

  1. I'm sorry you're going through this. No one can advise how to help until you know whether or not you do have MS. If you do then your doctor will have treatment options, and those of us who have had it for some time can offer tips, tricks and moral support. I wish you strength.

    1. Please let us know what happened with your recent MRI. What was discovered from that test? If you are not satisfied with how things are going, please try to contact another neurologist to get the ball rolling again. You truly have to be your own advocate when it comes to your health care. Please let us know how things are going for you.

      1. I went in and did the MRI. An hour later they called me and told me to come back in for a second MRI so the radiologist could get a better look at something. My doctor said he couldn’t say I did or didn’t have MS but there was some reason for concern then he wants to refer me to two different specialists, one being a neurologist. Still waiting for the appointment to see them.

        1. Hi,
I have planter fasciitis and my heel pain has decreased considerably since I have been wearingOrthofeet. It's great to find a shoe at a reasonable cost that seems to be just what I needed.
