In this video, renowned naturopath Megan Taylor guides you through four-square breathing, also known as box breathing or square breathing. It is a simple breathing technique to help you relax the mind and body.

    Thank you for this. I have a magnet on my fridge that says, “Breathe,” because I feel like sometimes I forget until the very end of the day! It sounds silly, because of course I am breathing all day, but sitting/ laying down at the end of the day, despite my daily naps, is when I feel like I’m finally remembering to fill and release my breath from my lungs. Looks like this exercise will be helpful for reducing stress I didn’t even know I have!

    @messeeone I’m glad you found this video helpful! I completely agree with what you said about not remembering to breathe until the end of the day. So much of our days are just trying to get through, mostly on autopilot, so being intentional about something as simple as breathing can go a long way in bringing us into the moment and releasing stress from the body.
