Wheelchair Kamikaze: Bagel Quest

A quick bagel run seems like an easy task, but navigating the bumpy streets of NYC in a wheelchair makes it a bit more challenging. But NYC bagels are worth the trek, so Marc takes us along on a Saturday afternoon trip with his wife down one of the busiest streets in all of the Upper West Side of Manhattan!

This video was originally published on Marc’s website on March 18, 2009 and is being featured on with his permission.

That is hilarious. I will be visiting your site. This shows EXACTLY how traveling in a chair is. And, I am from Louisiana, dirt track auto racing fan, (NASCAR is a little boring for real racers), love my grits, and hanging out in the front yard talking to my neighbors (just like Hank Hill). Yee Haa! you make me want to visit New York City again.

We visited NYC several weeks ago. I had my cane but my husband suggested the next time we visit NY or any crowded area, I should use a wheelchair. I wondered how that would work and the video gave me a good idea.
