Have your bladder issues ever caused strange symptoms outside the bladder area?

For those of you who have MS-related bladder problems: Besides burning or pain while peeing, urine retention, urgency, and frequency, have your bladder issues ever caused strange symptoms outside the bladder area? Example: auditory hallucinations, tinnitus, zaps, jerks, limb weakness, etc.

  1. Kim, that's a good question! Limb weakness certainly, but I'm pretty sure my tinnitus came about as a side effect of voltaren, a pain medication my neurologist prescribed for fibromyalgia. I'm just grateful I worked with a wonderful neuro-urologist for years and years. I was his favorite patient and he was my favorite specialist! He prescribed Methenamine Hippurate, a prophylactic that has enabled me to stay a step ahead of UTIs for a long time. Now if only I'd invested in POISE stock twenty years ago!
