Confused... Anyone have any input?

Hi everyone. I’m really confused and worried about what is wrong with me and I’m not sure who to talk to.

I thought I was dying

A couple of weeks ago I had a pain in my right side under my ribs. I took a pain killer and went to bed. I woke at 12am and felt as though I was dying. I was so convinced I was I wrote my kids and husband letters. I was extremely weak all over, white as a ghost, hot and cold, feeling sick and my body was starting to go numb.

All my tests came back normal and clear

The next morning I ended up at the ER because we had no clue what was happening. I could hardly stand/walk because I was so weak. They did bloods, an ultrasound of my tummy and urine sample. Everything came back normal apart from my white cells up a little. I had a CT scan back in June which came back clear.

My symptoms

Since I was at the hospital I have gotten no better. My symptoms are:

• Blurry vision (I had an eye test and they couldn’t see anything wrong)


• Headache


• Numb body (I can’t even feel hot or cold)


• Upset tummy - can’t eat or drink (I force myself)


• Feeling sick, especially after eating/drinking


• My legs feel extremely weak


• Feeling off balance


• Not sleeping as normal


• Can’t taste or smell normally


• Feeling very spaced out


• Can’t feel when I need to wee or poop as normal

I'm at a loss

Something has changed. I mentioned MS to my GP and she said it wouldn’t be that, I also asked for an MRI and she said I had a CT scan in June so I don’t need an MRI. So I’m at a loss of what the heck is going on with me. Something isn’t right. I just want to get back to my normal happy self and enjoy my kids again and be the best mum I can be. Does anyone have any input? 🙁
