I went to the grocery store today and every time I touched the grocery cart it felt like an electrical sensation/zap in my hands.. Not your typical static electricity shock.
I have had electric shocks before to type clothes I was wearing or shoes and floor surface they come in contact with a metal surface but not while pushing grocery cart.Did this continue through the day and at home? I have had electric shocks in back of my neck that radiated to my left arm and leg. This electrical shock led to a severe migraine headache that lasted 2 days. This went on for months. I contacted neurologist and he said it was due to MS and called Lhermites sign or phenomenon. I was placed on a anticonvulsant called Oxcarzepine. It relieved the symptoms right away. Still on medication for maintenance. If this continues you may want to seek help from doctor.

, ouch! I am sorry you had this experience. had some good insight, as we always suggest talking to your doctor when you experience new or worsening symptoms (if you haven't already done so). Personally, I hope this was a one time phenomena and you don't experience it again!
Hi , over my life with MS, I've health with electrical shock/zap sensations quite a bit. For me, it normally happens for seemingly no reason. I'll be going about my business and get a shock sensation, usually in my legs. I would absolutely mention it to your neurologist, along with when it happens.
