Faulty Medtronic Pump

I've had 4 pumps over the last 16 years. The 1st one at one point in time had something happen & it changed from it's set flow to a full flow and hospitalized me for a week before someone realized what happened. The 3rd one I got put in failed within the first month and we had it replaced. The one I have now is doing the same thing.

  1. That sounds both frustrating and dangerous, . What has your doctor said? Would you consider going back to testing and injections or do you prefer to give the pump another change. Please be careful and contact your doctor ASAP if you haven't already. Keep us posted if you don't mind. Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)

    1. , I can only echo what Lori wrote already. Please get things checked out asap and let us know how you are doing. It definitely sounds like something is up, whether its faulty equipment or improper placement or something else entirely.
