Germs

We have an area on our property that is used by cats, and it's filthy. I waited for my husband to clean it, but he won't go near it. One day I got totally fed up and went out there (armed with rubber gloves) and spent the morning cleaning and cleaning right down to the floor and finally got it sparkling. I was exhausted but pleased with myself. I have been some form of sick ever since, and now have fevers and generally just sick. Could this have affected my MS, and what can I do about it?

  1. I first want to say bravo to you for going out there and cleaning up that area. That's amazing and I hope you're proud of yourself for doing all that hard work! I've seen a lot of community members mention that they can sometimes flare if they push their bodies too hard. I wonder if your discomfort has something to do with that? Unfortunately, we aren't medical professionals and can't give medical advice here so my best suggestion would be to call your doctor up and share what you've shared here in the forum. I'm wishing you some peace and quiet so that you can rest up. 🧡 Kayleigh, MultipleSclerosis.net team
