I keep getting UTI's. They say my bladder doesn't completely empty why is that?

Mine hasn't emptied properly in about 10 years, so you are not alone! My neurologist sent me to a urologist when I the problem persisted, particularly due to the frequent UTIs. A specialist can tell you the best course of action.

Hi Deb, I had the same problem. Part of my problem was chronic constipation which prevented bladder emptying. I take medication for that. I saw a Urologist and had bladder tests and take medication for my bladder and a low dose antibiotic to ward off the UTIs. This has worked great for me. Good luck!
