Incontinence

Speak to a urogynecologist about inserting a Neuro stimulator device. My wife’s urogynecologist states it have a very high rate of success again urinary incontinence. The procedure is outpatient.

  1. Thanks for sharing this information, ! Did your wife have the procedure done? If so, has it been helpful for her?

Again, thanks for bringing this up to the MultipleSclerosis.net community!

    1. She did not Erin because she needs to shuffle using a bed letter to position for sleeping. This would bring the incision sight subject to abrasion which could compromise the device. We are going to discuss this issue further with the urogynecologist and she what the alternatives might be. But based on all the previous consultations the device is definitely something to look into.

    2. , okay. Thank you for explaining. I can see why you would want to avoid an incision in an area subject to friction! There are other bladder control options and I hope one of them is an option for your wife.

Thank you again for sharing and good luck as you and your wife and the doctor decide what option might be best for her.
