Anybody else ever experience jaw pain after dental work?

Hi guys. I am new here. I was diagnosed two years ago. I am on Tecifedra. I am doing ok but recently I had some fillings and crown put in my mouth. And since then I am having a strange weird pain in my jaws. Nothing can be detected as related to my teeth and it is there. Better now but I am scared to do any work soon. By the way, my husband is the dentist and he almost ruled any other cause. Anybody experienced something similar??

  1. Hi, ! Did your dentist mention anything about TMJ? This condition sometimes happens to people with MS (and other individuals as well). You can read a bit about it here and see if it sounds like what you are experiencing -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/prednisone-mood-side-effects/. If this isn't what you are experiencing, it may have to be chalked up to one of those things that can occur with MS. Sometimes, MS reacts very strongly to certain stressors. However, if you have yet to find a cause, you can always seek a second opinion. And, if this pain worsens, I would definitely let your doctor and dentist know. 1. It is getting better with time . I think it is what you mentioned about MS reacting very strongly to certain stressors. Thanks for your response. Much appreciated

  2. Hope you are feeling better, Moureem.
