Sad

It’s what I am most of the time yet when I see anyone it’s a big smile how are you fine I say and you ? I just can’t seem to put my ms into words at my last appointment I had thought beforehand that if I just write everything that happens to me and pass it over then they can say this is and no that isn’t but although they said all that that was it : so now what do I do !!

  1. Hi . It sounds like you are having symptoms and you are not sure whether they are MS-related. Is that it? Are you having trouble with cognitive fog? Sending lots of gentle hugs! - Lori (Team Member)

    1. I hear your confusion and frustration. It was brilliant of you to write everything down beforehand to hand off to your doc. Did they offer symptom treatment ideas for those items you wrote about? If you haven't already, you might think about asking a trusted friend/loved one to accompany you to your appointments, and task them with asking the follow-up questions for you. We can't always deal with this disease by ourselves, it's much too big to go it alone!

Also, as a follow-up to your appointment, you might write down questions like what do I do now? and then call your doc's office and ask the nurse to pass it along. Hope you get some things sorted out. --Cheers, Kim, moderator

      1. this can all be so overwhelming and just when you try to do everything right, it can feel like you are doing everything wrong instead.

I get it and it’s important to just keep taking steps even if they are baby steps. Every bad day only lasts 24 hours, good on you for being creative and doing the best you can!
