Weather

I live in Pakistan where the temperature nowadays is in average 41. Almost all my ms symptoms have become severe, stiff body, constipation, depression etc and this weather will be like till September.

  1. I'm so sorry you have to endure this. I can relate. I used to live in California, and it would sometimes get that hot this time of year. It was not easy. Heat can be like a prison.
What do you do to fight it? I used to take a cold shower or bath, then sit on the couch in front of a fan. It helped a little.
Sorry I can't be more helpful. I just wanted to say that I understand this struggle. You are in my thoughts. ~BK

    1. , I am sorry you are dealing with such hot temperatures! Do you have any coping tricks that make things a little more manageable? Like fans or cold compresses? Do the temps drop at all during the nights? I hope you are able to hang in there and that you get some unexpected breaks from the heat this summer. Best, Erin, MultipleSclerosis.net Team Member.

      1. That sounds terribly hot, . Have you ever tried cooling products designed for people with MS? I am not sure whether you can get them in Pakistan, but they can be a wonderful solution to the heat. Here is an article about them that might interest you: https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/beat-the-heat-and-chill. Wishing you the very best. - Lori (Team Member)
