Constipation can be annoying and embarrassing, but also very common for those living with MS. Even worse than occasional experiences, is chronic constipation that some have to deal with. Brooke's comic provides a humorous perspective of this not-so-humorous experience.

Brooke, is there a better feeling in the world when it's been weeks, and all of a sudden, our prayers are answered? For some reason, I alwaays feel like this is going to be the only Bm I'll ever need for the rest of my life.....and I'm having a colonoscopy Tuesday! Thank you for absolutely NAILING it! You're up there with Devin for being able to encapsulate our experience so perfectly.

I have recently discovered yacon syrup. It is a natural sweetener that has been shown in some good studies to take care of the good bacteria in your gut. It helps with constipation and may help with weight loss. After not even a whole jar, I have lost 3 pounds in about a month (without changing my eating habits) and my constipation has been cured! I put a little in my coffee every morning. It has a mild molasses-like or malt flavor. I bought mine on Amazon. I promise I have not been paid for this endorsement! It's just such a great find that I want to share it with my fellow MSers. Carolynn
