"I don't feel like leaving my bed. I just want to go back to sleep...not much else to do "
Hi again, @AshliFaith! I think most people with MS have days like that. Do you feel this way everyday or just once in a while? I hope tomorrow is a better day. Hugs! - Lori (Team Member)
Hi @AshliFaith. As I am sure you know, depression is very common for people with chronic illness and especially for people with MS. It is a symptom, just like any other symptom, and should be treated as one, even if you only experience it when you are starting your day. Have you considered seeing a therapist who specializes in chronic illnesses? Depression causes stress and stress makes symptoms worse. If you can alleviate the depression, you might feel better overall. It's worth a shot. My kids have all seen therapists at some point for help in dealing with their high anxiety. They are much happier because of it. Warmest of wishes! - Lori (Team Member)
Hi @AshliFaith! From this status update, it sounded like depression was keeping you in bed, but I see from today's update, that you are experience constant fatigue. So I apologize if I made a wrong assumption there. Many people with MS see a therapist regularly even if they are not experiencing current mental health symptoms simply because the social and psychological impact of MS can be so overwhelming. I am glad to hear you are feeling a but better today. I hope the fatigue was temporary. Best wishes! - Lori (team Member)
Hi
I was wanting to send you a message but this was the only way I knew how to get one through to you🤷♀️!
I'm just wanting to know how I can post a personal article about my recent changes of my M.S. on this website.
I'd really appreciate it if you can help me figure this out 😁
Much obliged to you, Lori,
