  1. "I am okay...but been feeling depressed and anxious lately. I have been having brain fog and very fatigued. I am in therapy since my neurologist always says it's not due to my MS. I feel like I am lost with this whole MS thing. I started Glatopa in March when the pandemic started, but don't really notice if it's doing anything. My therapist suggested I look for an MS virtual group. Need help in that."

    1. Hi @eritorres! I wish you were feeling more energetic and clear-headed. Does your neurologist say that fatigue is not a symptom of MS or simply that this particular episode is not MS-related? I am sure you know that cognitive fog and fatigue are most definitely MS symptoms, but, of course, depression can cause those symptoms as well.
There are a couple of options for connecting with others who have MS in this community. First, there is a feature called Friend Finder. Start by clicking on the arrow beside” Community” in our menu area. You should see a drop-down menu with an option for “Member Search.” Click on that. On the next page, you will see a small blue box that says “Try Friend Finder.” Click on the blue box and fil in some of the information about yourself. That information will lead you to other community members who fit your search criteria. If you already know the username of the person you would like to connect with, you can enter that person’s username into the box about “Try Friend Finder” and click on the magnifying glass icon. That should bring up the user. Then just click on “Add friend.” You can view your friend list by clicking on your profile icon in the upper right corner of any page.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society also has a couple of options - MSNavigator program: https://www.nationalmssociety.org/Resources-Support/Find-Support/Ask-an-MS-Navigator, and the Peer program: https://www.nationalmssociety.org/Resources-Support/Find-Support/Connect-with-Peers-One-on-One.
I hope you find the support you need here from our community members and advocates. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything. Best wishes! - Lori (Team Member)

  2. "I am grateful that today I feel great! My neurologist says he suspects that I have either Primary progressing or secondary progressing? "

    1. So happy to hear it was a very good day for you, and most importantly, I hope they continue!

Please continue to keep us posted...

  3. "I feel so awful today...don’t know if it’s just a regular migraine? It’s so intense and not to mention vomiting and diarrhea! I feel weaker this time than ever before. Can other symptoms be worse just because of my MS?"

    1. I always thought so

    2. eritorres,
ugh, those migraines again! It's been a few days since you posted this, and I'm hoping you are feeling much better now.

I can tell you that if I get even a slight cold, it puts me out of commission for a very long time.

Please take very good care of yourself!

  4. "I am feeling tired today..."

    1. Hi,
how have you been feeling since the infusion!?

    2. When I had it a week and half of ago I have been okay, but I need to have two more in next coming weeks. I have one on Friday and one right before Thanksgiving. I feel this will keep going and happy for Thanksgiving!

    3. I don't blame you eritorres, I would be happy for Thanksgiving too!
I only hope that through all this, you are able to get some well deserved rest!
