Oh goodness, I am so sorry that you are in pain today dear marisb. TThe pain with TN can be so awful sometimes. Is there anything that you've found that gives you any comfort? Thanks Kayleigh. Every positive thought and good vibe helps 😊. TN has become my worst MS symptom. We all have our bags to carry 😉. Feel good 🤞.

I forgot to mention that Tegratol was great for it, but it caused me all kinds of other problems. I guess it was too good to be true.

I'm so sorry to hear that TN is a sidekick of yours 🙁 I've never had it, but I've heard from others how nasty the pain is. Then it's a bummer when side effects outweigh the benefit of a medication. While Tegratol is a popular drug for this, there others to try. I read this article that has comments about things to try, and even an interesting comment about an interaction with Ampyra. https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/trigeminal-neuralgia I have often found avenues to pursue from other MSer insights. Have you tried anything else and what was the experience? I really hope you can fine some relief soon, so you can get rid of this sidekick, Hugs, Debbie (Team Member)
