"Going on ten years with MS! Who knew we'd be here... was in mental health therapy, currently in speech therapy, looking to start physical therapy. Leggooo"
"Fell coming out of the shower and hit my head on our tub today. Not at my best"
Hi. I understand. I can’t do a bathtub shower combo anymore. I seem to fall. It always scares me when I fall and I’m mad at myself. P My new shower only has a 5 inch lip and it’s still a problem. A handicap shower would probably work best but I can’t afford one. I’m sorry you fell though.
Rilano!
Are you alright?!
Please let us know how you are today!
I am fine! resting today. It was quite a scare yesterday, though. Bled a lot
Yes, a handicap shower sounds great. I can't afford that either... It wasn't a shower-tub combo, but as I was leaving the stand-alone shower I passed the tub and slipped on the floor, hitting the tub on the way down. My balance is not the best after a shower
What a relief! Can't thank you enough for giving us an update.
"It's hard to share with my loved ones that waking up has gotten so much harder with MS. They say I'm just lazy but I literally cannot stand up for about 30 minutes after I open my eyes. Anyone else have difficulty with this?"
I don't know exactly how waking up feels for you but I can definitely relate. That feeling when presented with a "task" done countless times that has become impossible or at least very hard. Well, I guess I'm saying I get what your saying and guess we now can take safety in numbers 😀
"Does MS affect anxiety levels? Because I used to be such a laid back person and now everything psychs me out."
For ex. Flying on planes. I've been chill about it since I was a baby and I just flew to LA a few weeks ago and I wanted to barf; I was so worked up.
