How MS Affected My Life

I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis back in 1996. I was working in a hospital in Greenwich Village, New York, and was jumping off the walls, receiving the wrong diagnosis at first. MS was a surprise.

How MS affected my relationships

Because of a negative attitude with the diagnosis, it cost me a marriage. After two periods in a different state, the Lord Jesus brought to me a lovely young woman. After two years of my proposals, she finally accepted. It’s now been over 25 years of my glorious marriage.

What MS has taken away from me

Now 30 years later, I’ve been having a mess in my life. There are a multitude of things I can't do because of a disease like MS. I am unable to work because people get afraid, which I find amusing when they hear the word MS. I haven’t been able to drive in over 20 years because one day someone notified authorities and they took away my license.

It's important to stay strong

I do believe I can drive. I also believe I can work. I would say stay strong no surrender or retreat the model I give credit to the Lord Jesus Christ for just putting it inside my soul. I always move forward to the day you call back by the Lord Jesus, for he and his father Yahweh, he is ready to receive me in his kingdom.
