Judy MS Story

I was dx. in 2000 at the age of 55 after twice being in the hospital with what I was told was a stroke. The last time I was in a doctor came in & introduced himself & said "i don't think it's a stroke, I think it'a something else" I'm going to discharge you & ask you to come to my office on Mon. That was the best day as after my visit & several tests he confermed MS.

I started with RRMS & was put on Rebif, but in January my dr said I've progressed to SPMS, as I'm on a Rollator at home & wheelchair when out. I'm forbidden to go out alone, due to several falls,so I'm pretty much "house bound".

Last March, after being on Rebif for 12yrs. I had an awful injection reaction ,that led to 3 months of almost daily trips to the wound care center & an awful scar.

I'm not on any meds now except Rx care of problums resulting from exacerbation.

I'd love to hear from anyone else who now has SPMS.

Thankyou for reading my story.
