Where's my memory

Upon this last year I've noticed my memory started getting worse.Not trying to cut people off,but if I don't say when it comes to me its gone and may or may not come back and thats frustrating. My family thinks I'm lying but its the truth both short term and long term mostly short term. I like the home and garden tv channel I can just seen it and in a couple of days I'll watch it again like I've never seen it.

Hi @ latrice.2015! I am glad you can look on the bright side! My dad used to say the same kind of thing: that he saved a bundle on magazines because he could keep reading the same articles over and over. 😀 I wish you had more support from your family. Would any of them be willing to accompany you to the doctor's for an appointment? Sometimes, people are more receptive about things like this when the information comes from a third party. Hi Latrice, I can TOTALLY relate to everything you said about memory loss and watching the same shows over & over. It's actually a challenge to type this on my laptop because 1. I broke my left wrist pretty bad 2 years ago & it never healed right, so I can't type like I use to (over 100 words a minute). & 2. I can't remember where the keys are so I have to search. Besides my memory, I've noticed that I sometimes struggle with spelling now too! I was just diagnosed with RRMS on 3/25/21, but I've had symptoms for years. I really like Lori's advice above, about having a family member go with you to your appointment. When I would tell family & friends that my brain just wasn't working right, they'd say "Yeah mine too!" but I knew in my gut that there was more to mine. I just wish that I would have listened to my gut years ago. Best wishes to you

i hope it will get better with you. i have my calendar full of stuff i need to do. I also send text messages to myself to keep u with stuff to. i also try to put things in the same place all the time so i can keep up with things also. keep going and don't stop. thxs for your comment
