MS and type 1 diabetes

I have been a type 1 diabetic since the age of 3 now 50. I found out I had MS 7 years ago after years of having problems.

About 10 years ago I started having problems with balance and walking a straight line. My endo doctor said it was nothing and after a MRI my neuro Dr said it was the diabetes.

After waking up early on morning and falling flat on my face, my family thought i had a stroke I was 44.

After the same neuro Dr saw me in Hospital they determended I had MS.

My A1c are fine and taking Rebif now after years on Copaxone.

    Hi Bill,
That’s great that your diabetes is doing well while you’ve been on treatment for MS. I’ve had people ask me questions about possible interactions but I’ve never known what another person’s experience has been. I don’t have diabetes. I hope you continue to do well.
