An MS Story

I was diagnosed a year ago with MS. I have a few questions. I am having headaches at my lesson spot frequently. Is this normal? Every time I ask my Dr. he wants to do an MRI. I am sick of MRIs. I have had 10 in 16 months. When it’s cold outside, it seems to settle in my joints. Is this normal? No one seems to get what I am going through. VERY DEPRESSING. Everyone is treating this like its a stomach ache, you will get over this. That makes me VERY ANGRY!! My husband is tired of me complaining but he really doesn’t understand either. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!!!

I had some trouble figuring out my new normal after my diagnosis too. I’d encourage you to get involved with the MS community, find people going through the same thing as you. This site is good. I got a lot of help from MSWorld.org too. They have forums for more back and forth discussion.

I do get frequent headaches, i don’t know if it is from my lesions. I do have them all over my brain. So yes it could be, yes it isn’t the normal headache, that we use to get before them.
