Not MS This Time, Have a Laugh on Me.

Here is a funny story for today, nothing to do with MS for a change. As we are both elderly, we both have hearing aide. My husband lost his right hearing aid several months ago. In Alberta under Alberta Health Care, and additional coverage by Blue Cross which we have carried for years and pay for, Hearing aids are covered for seniors with the stipulation that you can get new ones every five years. Well, hubby lost his right one, and his left one died and is in the shop for repair, so I let him try my left one and it worked.

Can't blame MS for this one

Okay, the funny part of the story is last night we both forget to take them out before getting into bed. We both took them out and put them on our nightstands. I got up first this morning and grabbed my aid. Dick got up later and put his in his ear. Got out to the living room to my lift chair and set up my computer. Dick got up and I couldn’t find my aid. We searched for a good half hour, me knowing exactly where I went remembering I put the aid on the seat of my walker. So totally puzzled, we decided to wait a while and continue looking. Well, I asked where the left one was and it was in his ear. I checked my right ear, and there it was. I had put it in my ear, not realizing it. Ain’t old age just too fun. Can’t blame MS for this one.

Hope this made you laugh. If you can’t laugh at yourself, you have lost your sense of humor.
