Secret no more

I have had MS since 1961. My symptoms started when I was 3 months postpartum with my first child. I was not diagnosed till 1970 when I had moved to North Carolina and had a thorough workup at Duke University in Durham. For several years I had one relapse after another including very painful optic neuritis.

All symptoms went away till last year when they returned with a vengeance. Symptoms included difficulty speaking and swallowing.

Currently, I use a walker for ambulance which is a surprise to most because I appeared symptom free for so many years.

I do not take any medication.
