in dire need of a qualified personal care aide for 2hr/wkly

the topic is the whole story. i feel as if i was abandoned by the social worker on my sister's case. any advice/help in securing a reputable agency to fulfill this need would be much appreciated.

  1. I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling to find a social worker for your sister's care. I personally don't have direct experience with social workers, but I'm glad that you posted this her as I'm sure others will chime in with their personal experience and recommendations. Because you unfortunately are not alone in this experience.

In the meantime, have you contacted your sister's doctor's office to see if they have recommendations for agencies? I'm sure you're exhausting all options and resources to fit support for her. Again, I'm sure others will chime in to this conversation shortly.

    1. Hi, ! I can't really add more to what Alene shared, but I would definitely see what local options you have in your area. My area has a variety of homecare options (of varying levels of quality and cost), so someone local might have some helpful suggestions. I'm not above posting on Facebook with questions like this. You also tend to find our which agencies to avoid, which is always good to know!

I hope you are able to find an agreeable solution very soon.
