Jane

I'm Robins mum, he's 41yrs old, he came home June 2020, he knew he was ill, neither could work out with what, January 2022 confirmed Ms, Ms has affected his eyesight he may be blind, he has tremor, balance problems, anxiety, depression.he's very angry !! I struggle because I hate to watch him struggle, I want to protect him, make things right but I can't, I can only try to get him the help he needs, hopefully very soon he'll begin DMT, fingers crossed, Robin would love to be part of a research programme, to feel like he's contributing something instead of sitting at home twiddling he thumbs

  1. Hello Jane, Thanks for reaching out.
I'm saddened to hear how challenging it has been for both Robin and yourself.
It's evident that you have a tremendous amount of love for your son and as a mom you just want to do all you can to help him. My heart goes out to you both.
I thought I'd share a few links that may provide some helpful information: https://multiplesclerosis.net/clinical-trials-101 and https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/msaa-gratitude-resources. In the meantime, please know this community is here for you and we will be keeping you both in our thoughts and prayers.
    Warmly, Doreen (Team Member)
