New medication

Hi all,
i've been on Gilenya for the last 12years and its time to move onto something else. Currently relapsing/remitting.

My choices are Ocrevus or Kesimpta.
I've begun doing some reading about each of them, but i'd also like to hear from folks who might be on either of these meds.
The thought of injecting myself again is not appealing (10yrs Rebif) but if its the better option, so be it.
Steve

  1. Hi, !

I'm sorry Gilenya isn't doing the trick for you anymore. I don't want to overwhelm you with links and I do hope some community members see your post and chime in here with their personal experiences with the treatments you have asked about.

That said, I will share some information on Ocrevus and Kesimpta, but please keep in mind that I am cherry picking from a long list of articles and conversations we have on these medications!

Here's a conversation from our forums on Ocrevus that I thought you might find interesting -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/forums/ocrevus-treatment. And here's a conversation on Kesimpta -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/forums/kesimpta-experience. I think these links are what you're looking for -- personal experiences and questions about each medication.

I know the prospect of starting a new medication (and possible injections) can be daunting, to say the least. But, I hope whichever treatment you choose, that it's a good fit for you with minimal side effects! If you need more input on these medications or anything else MS related, please don't hesitate to reach out and let us know; we're happy to help in any way we can.
