Numbness in face

Hello!
Wanted to see if this has been experienced by others. I have been dealing with numbness in my feet for a long time, but recently noticed numbness or really muted sensations around my right knee. Like, the fabric moving against my right knee feels different. Then, this started on my right arm. Well, for the second time it is happening on my face and this time my lips too. Similar to the sensation of numb lips from Novocain when it wearing off, but not completely yet.

Does this sound familiar to anyone??
Thank you 😀

  1. , hi! I am sorry you are experiencing episodes of numbness and I hope you get some feedback from other community members here. I know numbness and generally odd sensations can be pretty common with MS. I don't know if you've read this article yet, but I thought you would be able to relate to it (and the member comments at the end of the piece) -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/numbness-tingling. You are definitely not alone in this! And, if you haven't done so already, you may want to let your physician know about the change in symptoms you are experiencing, just to be safe. Best, Erin, MultipleSclerosis.net Team Member.

    1. Yes the numbness and than pins and needles in my left hand came first, than a numb middle toe on the left, but now also by my left eye, than left mouth, lower lip and even tingling on left side of my tongue. Just like you have described it, is what I said to my husband. Like the freezing from a dental visit, but not fully gone yet. Hope you get relief soon!
