Tingling and numbness in lower body

I’m currently in diagnosis for MS and i’ve been struggling badly past week or so with rlly intense numbness and tingling in my lower body. It first started in my feet where it feels the worst but it’s slowly starting spreading up my legs to my butt. i’m only 22 and i’m really struggling to cope with it. Is there anything i can do to stop the numbness n tingling? I haven’t felt comfortable in a week n i’m scared it’s going to last longer or get worse. I saw my neurologist yesterday and she’s booked me in for more scans, my physical exam was normal apart from my reflexes in my toes. i’m not quite sure how to deal with this.
