I personally don't have any experience with a vibration board,

I just recently heard about vibration plates. Pub Med has some research regarding them being helpful for many things including balance, osteoporosis, strength training. Fitness clubs like Life Fitness have some you can try - very, very expensive but you can purchase smaller ones for personal use at home. Powerplate.com

Thanks for the input! I will be trying one in a local gym and discuss with my neuro. Will post my experience. It seems like a good option for me with osteoporosis, scoliosis - limited ability to exercise.
