Reaction to Covid vaccine?

Just wanted to throw this out to see if I am alone here....I had my first Covid vaccine about 10 days ago. It was on a Friday. No problems....felt just fine. That Sunday night, I couldn't catch my breathe. 911 called and I had severe sepsis and pneumonia. I spent 6 days in the hospital. My Dr. said I was not his first patient to get the vaccine and end up in the hospital...anyone else experience this? I had the Moderna vaccine, by the way.

  1. Hi Teddy123! I am so sorry you experienced that! I hope your physician was able to report your situation, just to be safe. The FDA is tracking Covid vaccine reactions and monitoring the situation. Here is some detailed information on the Moderna Vaccine (including potential side effects and how to report side effects) -- https://www.fda.gov/media/144638/download.
Whether your episode was related to the vaccine or something else entirely, I am sorry you had to go through all that and I hope you are on the mend now. Best, Erin, MultipleSclerosis.net Team Member.
