I started to drive after I had my first treatment at 20 yrs old, I'm now 60 and I still drive. I had to make some changes, no driving at night, harsh conditions, if I'm experiencing symptoms with my legs or eyes. I have some special features in my car like rear camera assistance, blind side warning signal, seat adjustment and heated/ cool seats and OnStar. Don't know how long I will be able to drive however for now I'm taking advantage of the freedom. MS is unpredictable yet it will never define me as a person, adaptation is the key, if you can't do something one way substitute it with a way you can, for me that's how I get the most from my life.
