I was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis in late July of 2017 after a brain MRI came back showing lots of MS lesions and a spinal tap came back positive for high amounts of elevated protein ‘o’ bands. HI chinadoll! and thank you for your question. It sounds like you have had some testing done already to determine if you have MS or some other medical issue. It’s best to discuss this with your physician, if you haven’t already done so. No single test is used to diagnose MS. You can read more about the diagnosing process here — https://multiplesclerosis.net/diagnosis/. And again, I think you can just ask your physician what his/her thoughts are on this. I hope you get some clear answers and thank you for reaching out! Best, Erin, MultipleSclerosis.net Team Member.
