Diagnosed 2 weeks ago, almost doesnt feel real.

So right now my symptoms have gone away. But a couple months ago my right arm wouldnt work sometimes. Neck mri showed lesions which prompted brain mri showing more lesions.

Im not freaking out, I think because my hand and arm are better. When my arm acts up again is when I think I will have my freakout. I am 30 btw. Idk what to think.

  1. I can totally relate. I was 28 when I was diagnosed (32 now). For months I was numb about it, not knowing what to think. Finally, I decided to own it and instead of fearing it, decide to go on the offensive and do everything possible to fight back against MS. Eating healthy, regular MRIs, working out, going on Tysabri, now taking Ocrevus.

It's normal to feel the way you do, so don't sweat it. Please share more, it will help!

    Stay strong,
    Wes

    1. Is Ocrevus helping you a lot. I have been taking Tysabri for three years and wonder if it is really doing anything much for me anymore.

  2. My son was recently diagnosed with MS. I found this book to be invaluable I hope it will help you as well:

‘Multiple Sclerosis and (lots of) Vitamin D’ by Ana Claudia Domene
