Cervical pain

Spoke to my consultant yesterday about forthcoming mri. I mentioned to him about when I kay on my back. J get terrible pain in my throat. Cervical neck vertebrae pain and it can't literally hardly breathe and have stopped breathing and woke by my husband. But the pain at the back of my neck is bad and its coincided with the throat pain.always when led on my back its worse.any thoughts anyone?
