MS in warm/ hot

My MS like cool are but not to cold, and the HEAT just kills me. I live in my room with AC on 24/7. Anyone else have this also? I'm really trying to find a stability dog, mom helps me, but she's getting over breast cancer and I need help ๐Ÿ˜•

  1. I'm so glad that you've posted this update here. MS can be challenging to live with on a daily basis so it's important to connect with others who "get it."

I find myself sensitive to heat as well. It's challenging at different times of the year - certainly in the summer, but even in the winter as there can be a lot of space heaters and fireplaces around that can be triggering. That's why the spring and fall are personally my favorite seasons.

We have several articles on this site here that talk about heat intolerance. I've include a link to two below. but if you type "heat" into the search bar in the upper left corner of your screen, you can find other articles too.

This is one that I wrote about heat in the summertime: https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/summer-heat-intolerance

I hope these help! I also hope that you have luck finding a stability dog and that your mom continues to heal well. We're thinking of you and your family.
