M s symptoms

I was diagnosed with m s last feburuary. I woke up one morning and my legs were like jelly and just couldn't walk. .my brain was telling my legs to move but they wouldn't. I had 3 bad relapses last year.after each one I had to learn to walk again. So the last 3 months I've noticed that I m not processing information. Or its like a delayed reaction. Someone will talk and say a sentence but uts not registering straight away. It's slow. I m not focused. It feels like my brain is on overload.my eye doesn't focus. I have uveitis. High pressure behind the eye I feel like my brain is in slow motion. Is this caused by ms.please help

  1. Hi, ! I am so sorry you are experiencing these issues! If you haven't done so already, please let your doctor know that you are experiencing new and/or worsening symptoms. I cannot offer you medical diagnosis, for your safety. What I can tell you is that many of the symptoms you described are ones that members of our community have experienced. Struggles with processing information (sometimes called "cog fog" or "brain fog" within the community) is pretty common. You can read a bit about it here -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/ms-and-cognitive-function and here -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/thinking-brain-fog-terrifying. Also, here's some information on vision problems and MS that I thought you might find interesting -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/symptoms/vision-problems. Also, uveitis is a comorbidity that is sometimes seen in the MS community.

All this to say that you are not alone in what you are experiencing! BUT, to be safe, it's always wise to have new/worsening symptoms checked out and treated, if possible, so please don't hesitate to talk to your doctor.

I do hope this is just a relapse and that you get some long term relief from these issues very soon!
