Are the reproductive system and MS related?
I have never had a regular cycle. However, I did not have symptoms of MS until I was about 24 but I have never cycled regularly. I am trying to figure out if the two are related?
I read somewhere that we are more prone to have Polycystic Ovarian Disease. I actually did have it, it caused me alot of female problems until I finally had a hysterectomy. During pregnancy though, symptoms tend to be less drastic.

I think more studies need to be done to learn how MS may affect the reproductive organs, but there is a definite link between MS and sexual dysfunction, which you can read about here -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/symptoms/sexual-dysfuncion/. Some of the medications used to treat MS can have an affect on one's reproductive organs. For women, this tends to be issues like vaginal dryness and pain during intercourse. Also, Ms may cause reduced sensation in the vagina or penis. However, I know that's not exactly what you asked about! If you haven't done so already, you may want to discuss this with your physician or gynecologist. Stress, dietary changes, and medications can all affect a woman's cycle, so you may want to rule those out, if you haven't done so already.
