Weird symptoms that have progressed over time

Where do I start, IL try to keep it as short as I can, I'm 35 years old male with no family history of autoimmune disease. for 5+ years now I have been experiencing ALOT of random things within my body, started with weird ITCHY, TINGLING back pain, mostly upper back and it comes and goes, each time it returns it is just a little bit more intense. Being a cigarette/marijuana smoker since I was 14 I was worried it was a lung issue and pushed my doctor for a CT scan, found scar tissue buildup and I had to do a 2nd scan 1 year later that came back clean. Upon quitting smoking the pains went away, returned a few months later and came and went for years. I now feel it basically every day, also in the sides of my.ribcage and the front of my chest, always feel hot like theres inflammationin my chest. and small things like a gust of wind or my kid tapping me on the back or the side of my ribs trigger the pain, even the slightest cold water in the shower. I have gastro reflux and which my doctor basically just chalks it all up to that along with bad posture and being hunched over on the couch or on my phone..For 4+ years iv been waking up randomly at night with BURNING feet, calves or even my shins and top of my feet, sometimes in 1 foot/leg or sometimes both. I have developed varicose veins in my right leg they almost look like ropes under my skin, also both big toes are numb quite often. Doctor chalked this 1 up to varicose and Gout in my big toes from excessive alcohol use and sodium intake, which I found weird at the time cause yes I drank and partied on weekends with the odd beer through the week but ok good enough for me.. upon reducing sodium And alcohol intake the symptoms slowed but still coming and going, now I'm waking up 2 3 times a week with these burning pains in feet and legs, sometimes multiple times in 1 night. Also have random muscle spasms periodically all over, my back, calves, quads, triceps etc. I have never really slept well in my adult life, 4-6 hrs for the most part and even now when I aim for 8-10 I'm lucky to get 6, always felt like my brain is always going through the night, can hear everything going on even if I'm asleep. Doctor will not give me sleeping pills basically advised me to quit my addictions, when that didn't work she recommended a melatonin supplement and herbal teas. Permanently feel fatigue but have always just thought its the lack of sleep. Was a serious athlete all my life up untill 25 years old I tore my mcl and meniscus in my knee, living in Canada I was forced to wait 4 months for mri and another 6 for surgery. In my recovery I pulled a hamstring in my other leg and also pulled both sides of my groin. Lost my job from inability to complete my duties which lead to depression where I basically sat on the couch playing video games all day for years being scared I would injure something else if I tried anything physically demanding, finally beat that mental block and have somewhat returned to a semi athletic lifestyle, I weight train and play rec softball but still can't sprint or over exert my legs by any means, 0 balance, always stumbling and losing my footing, even with the years of physio and strength training. I have never had the greatest memory, always blamed my marijuana use for being so forgetful but even after quitting marijuana I find myself forgetting more and more, key, wallet, things I need to do that day etc.. in the last 6 months I have lost 25 pounds and now weigh less then when I graduated high-school, I eat lots, 70% vegetarian diet with a high protein intake yet I can't gain any weight, recently had pretty harsh upper abdominal pains and am currently waiting for further digestive testing. have always had brutal stomach aches since I was a kid with a fast metabolism, usually poo 2 3 times a day, since quitting drinking its 1 or 2 but still have the odd day where it's 3 or 4. Frequent urination through the day sometimes its only a few dribbles but it feels like I really have to pee..I do work a physically demanding job installing windows and doors, and even with weight training I feel like I'm getting weaker opposed to stronger. Recently I feel like my neck is always stiff and cracking and also get these weird shooting pains down my spine if I lean a certain way. My boss' wife was been diagnosed with MS, 1 day I kept stumbling and he referred to it as drop foot, then asked me if I ever get numb toes or muscle cramps, I immediately said yes and we had a long in depth discussion about MS and how alot of my symptoms remind him of how is wife started, wasn't untill she lost vision in her right eye they gave her a brain MRI and found lesions. Explained that the itchy burning back pain could by dysesthesia and the cramps at night could beel erythromelalgia which obviously are both MS symptoms. Went to my doctor again and stressed my concerns and all the mis diagnosis has potentially cost ke 5 years of treatment, she re-assured me that it's highly unlikely and she has 5 patients fighting MS and she feels that I don't have MS but did order an MRI for me, I now have to wait till the end of October for the test to be done and I now feel I could be causing myself more damage from all the stress and anxiety of not knowing.. hoping for somebody to give me some closure in the mean time, at this point I would almost be happy with a diagnosis just to end all the unknowns and settle down the symptoms I have been dealing with... please share your stories and opinions with .e
