If person meets McDonald Criteria with symptoms, why no diagnosis?

Years of suffering debilitating MS symptoms permanently disabled but doctors say it's not MS and dismissed my illness.

  1. Hi , I'm very sorry to hear about your situation. The sad truth is that not all doctors are great when it comes to diagnosing MS (as I like to say, not all doctors are equal: https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/doctors-reminder-advocate-yourself/). The best advice I can give to you is to keep searching, keep looking for more opinions. It's a hassle, but changing doctors, even multiple times, is crucial to getting a proper diagnosis.
