Does anyone know if vaccinations given to patients who are already diagnosed with an autoimmune disease can trigger a severe progressive aggressive form of MS? Is there any regulation or clinical study regarding the effects of vaccination programs for international travel?

Hi freedomfighter! That's a great question. Here is some information on studies done in regards to childhood vaccines and MS -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/blog/do-childhood-vaccines-cause-ms/. Here is some recent information on, specifically, the Gardasil vaccine -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/news/studies-find-no-link-between-gardasil-vaccine-and/. I am not aware of any studies done on the vaccinations required for certain types of international travel. If such a study hasn't been done, I would be curious to see if there is any noted causality at this time.
I hope this information is helpful, even if it doesn't fully answer your question.
Thanks for reaching out!

Hello, the hepatitis B vaccine can cause MS. It’s listed on the side effects on the package insert of my son’s prescribed vaccine, hexyon. The following study talks about how the incidence of MS went up after introduction of hep b vaccine in France:

Thank you so so much for helping me find this information! You have no idea how important this is. Bless you for taking the time to respond! I have been back in the hospital since my post, only have been home about a weeks since I got sick in 2016 so wasn’t able to respond sooner. Thank you so much! <3

Not really vaccination-related, but I read that Enbrel/Benepali, a medication for "moderate" psoriasis, can cause MS:
https://bentcorner.com/embrel-can-cause-multiple-sclerosis/
Apparently other drugs of this class carry the same risk: Remicade, Humira, Simponi, Cimzia (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5364240/)
Please be careful with the drugs you take!!
