Hi ,
That's a great question and one that you may want to discuss with your healthcare provider. As you may be aware there are many tests available that can diagnose and/or track the progression of MS. Some people with MS have nerve damage, but it might not cause any noticeable symptoms. This damage might not even be picked up on a neurological exam or MRI. Evoked potentials tests can be used to detect nerve problems in these cases.
